The Producers Guild/ATL chapter is bringing the film/filmmaker discussion of THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING to Atlanta.

Our feeling is that this is an important catalyst to have a discussion that helps us understand:

- The history and systemic exclusion of women & people of color from our business

- Why and how things must change

- Why it’s important for men to get involved in this issue.

- How Georgia can overturn and avoid making the same mistakes (I believe that we’re already doing that - but we can do more)

DATE: Sunday, Nov 3rd, 2019TIME: 7:00 p.m. Screening, followed by a discussion with three of the filmmakers (Ends at 9:45)PLACE The Plaza Theatre 1049 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30306
FILM SYNOPSIS:Told first-hand by some of Hollywood’s leading voices* behind and in front of the camera, THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING is a feature-length documentary that uncovers what is beneath one of the most confounding dilemmas in the entertainment industry—the underrepresentation and misrepresentation of women. It looks at the history, empirical evidence, and systemic forces that foster gender discrimination and thus reinforce disparity in our culture. Most importantly, the film seeks solutions from within and outside the industry, and around the world.
